Terms of use

These terms govern your use of the Conatus website at this address and any Conatus product that links to them.
The website and products are operated by Conatus Software Design FZCO, a company registered in the Dubai Integrated Economic Zones, United Arab Emirates.
By using the website or a product you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use them.
You must be at least 16 years old to use our products.
All content on the website and in our products, including text, design, code, artwork and trademarks, belongs to Conatus or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute or sell it without our written permission.
You keep ownership of anything you create inside our products. You give us a licence to store, process and display it so that the product can work.
You must not use our products for anything unlawful, to harm other people, to send spam, or to interfere with the operation or security of the service.
Where a product offers a subscription or in-app purchase, billing is handled by the relevant app store and is subject to that store's terms. Refunds are handled through the store.
Our products are provided as they are. We do not promise that they will be uninterrupted, error free or suitable for any particular purpose.
To the extent the law allows, Conatus is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the website or our products. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
We may change a product, suspend it, or end it at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.
We may update these terms. If we make a material change we will post the new terms here and update the date above. Continued use after that date means you accept the new terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Emirate of Dubai and the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates. The courts of Dubai have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.

Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal data Conatus Software Design FZCO collects, why, and what we do with it. It applies to this website and to any Conatus product that links to it.
We collect information you give us directly, such as your name and email address when you contact us or create an account.
We collect information automatically when you use a product, such as device type, operating system, app version, usage events, crash reports and approximate location derived from your IP address.
We use this information to run and improve our products, to respond to you, to understand how our products are used, to keep the service secure, and to send service messages. We send marketing email only if you have agreed to receive it, and you can opt out at any time.
We use third party services to operate our products, including app stores, payment processors, hosting providers, analytics providers and customer support tools. They process data on our behalf and under our instructions.
We do not sell personal data.
Data may be stored and processed outside the United Arab Emirates, including in the European Union and the United States. Where this happens we take reasonable steps to ensure it is protected.
We keep personal data for as long as you have an account with us or as long as we need it for the purposes above, and then we delete or anonymise it.
You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, or to stop processing it, by emailing founders@conatus.earth. We will respond within 30 days.
Our products are not directed at anyone under 16 and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, but no system is completely secure.
We may update this policy. If we make a material change we will post the new policy here and update the date above.
This policy is governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, including Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data, to the extent it applies.
